In 2005, Spain legalised gay marriage, but, in cities across the nation, many judiciaries refused to enact the law. One small town of only 50 inhabitants, Campillo de Ranas in Guadalajara, led by its openly gay mayor, decided to look forward instead of back. Old farming families, local business leaders and citizens happily welcomed same-sex couples from around the world to get married in their town.

This sweet documentary feature quietly celebrates the power of the human spirit and showcases how relatively conservative and parochial cultures are more inclusive in their traditions than many of the world's modern cities. A delightful, emotionally uplifting and ultimately inspiring gem.

Audience Award, Madrid International LGBT Film Festival.

Presented with the kind support of the Instituto de Cervantes.

Campillo, Yes I Do! will be introduced by Director Andrés Rubio.

It is amazing, how loving and caring a little town can be. USA little towns can learn a lot from them.
