A pair of attractive twin brothers set out on a cross-country odyssey from France to Spain to attend their estranged mother's funeral. Their background is vague to begin with, their relationship intense and ribald. As they meet various characters along their way, attractions and rivalries slowly erupt, leading to a sometimes erotic tension. While one of the brothers is the object of female attractions, the other is more interested in a young migrant farm worker of the male variety.
The twins fight and make up, and, as they do so, you are never quite sure if it's because of jealousy or fraternal messing about. Their relationship and journey eventually come to an end along a coastline in Spain, as they come to terms with the truth of each other. A sexy and curious piece that only French cinema can do so well.
