"No drink, No drugs, No lesbians" was the mantra of Rene Portland, coach for Penn State's Lady Lions basketball team for over 23 years. Her intention? "To remove the stigma of lesbianism from women's sport."

The arrival of student Jen Harris, one of America's most successful High School basketball players to the team in 2003 led to a battle of epic proportions when she was dismissed by Coach Portland a year and a half into her tenure. The intimidation and harassment Jen faced led her, with the support of the National Centre for Lesbian Rights, to take Portland and Penn State to court in 2006.

A fascinating and impressive story of ability and resolute determination to correct a decades-long system of institutional prejudice introduced by one woman and overturned by another.
