Cult German writer and HIV/AIDS activist, Napoleon Seyfarth's life has become a work of art, exhibited throughout the home he lived in until he died of AIDS-related illness in 2000. This brilliantly engaging and straightforward film is a unique interpretation of his approach to life, his response to the AIDS crisis and his immense creativity.

Filmed in his home before he passed away, this riveting interview feature explores the importance of artistic expression, respect and dignity, as Seyfarth turns life into art right up to the orchestration of his own funeral. The end of the pig, after all, is the beginning of the sausage.

Official Selection, Berlinale International Film Festival 2009
