GAZE Welcomes New Programming Interns

GAZE is pleased to welcome two new Programming Interns to the 2021 edition of the festival. As we approach our 30th birthday, we believe that bringing fresh eyes and new perspectives will help us look towards the future while celebrating the past.

Making a valuable contribution to the selection process are (L-R) Alice Linehan and James Hudson. Programming opportunities are rare, and we hope this experience will give Alice and James an understanding of the film festival selection process, as well as develop their skills both in festival production and film curation.

Alice Linehan

Alice Linehan is a 22-year-old Kildare native with a passion for LGBTQ+ onscreen representation. Alice is admittedly buzzing to be a part of the GAZE team, having previously worked across areas such as video, social media, and journalism, including at GCN. All going well, Alice hopes to see everyone back at the cinema. @_alicelinehaan

James Hudson

James Hudson is a writer from Dublin exploring queer and trans identity. His writing is published or forthcoming with Monstrous Regiment, Southword Editions, Pop Up Projects, The Common Breath and The Stinging Fly. He also works with the Small Trans Library Dublin and the Trans Writers Union to improve the accessibility of queer writing in Ireland. He hopes that the GAZE audience will have their hearts swell with love watching films together again. @townmice
